Harrow Association of Disabled people provides an advocacy service, supporting and empowering disabled people, funded by the Harrow NHS Clinical Commissioning Group.

Our Advocacy service seeks to ensure that people, who are often the most vulnerable in society, are able to:

​

• Have their voice heard on health related issues that are important to them. 

• Defend and safeguard their rights to health care. 

• Have their views and wishes genuinely considered when decisions are being made about their health and their quality of living.

Our service is provided by a highly experienced advocate with years of knowledge gained from many cases. Our Advocate has worked with a diverse range of clients and has an understanding of many cultural needs. We prioritise and support inclusion and our advocate has promoted this on many occasions.
