HAD Statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19):
Dear Service User,
This is a very challenging time. I wanted to let you know what HAD is doing to continue to support you and advocate for disabled people and their communities.
HAD has had to close its offices to people. But all staff are working from home and can be contacted by phone and by e-mail. We are still here for you, your families and your carers. We will be:
· Providing services over the phone
· Proving advice and helping guide people.
We are working with partners, the Council and the NHS to help and support disabled people, their families and carers.
We are very conscious that the next few months will be very challenging for all of us. We will do our best to continue to support you all and we will keep you updated with resources and information as we get them.
With very best wishes
HAD says: "Stay home, stay safe, save lives"
HAD is closed until further notice (starting 16/03/20), but we are providing services to support clients via telephone.
The following services are currently available:
Payroll - 020 8861 8875
Direct Support - 020 8861 9921
Welfare Benefits - 020 8861 9928
HAD believes it is important to follow the Government guidance. In short:
· Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home).
· Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people.
· Wash your hands as soon as you get home.
The danger is that you can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
So it is vital that you:
· Stay at home and away from others (social distancing)
We wish everyone well during this difficult period.
