Adult Social Care
Updated: Nov 20, 2019
Our chair of trustees, Adam Gabsi, was invited to appear on the BBC News and BBC 2 morning show, Victoria Derbyshire, to discuss adult social care. He was joined by two other guests (Katy and Ian) who shared their experiences using the adult social care system.
Adam said, "Adult social care charges undermine disabled peoples human right to an independent lifestyle. It would be good for a party to scrap these charges. Regardless of which party is in charge, these charges have to stop."
Our chairman also expressed the need for donations as Harrow Council no longer fund any of our services and therefore we unfortunately have to charge some of the hardest hit members of society.
